A dead body floats

The Jaffna Police say that a woman’s body was found floating in the Jaffna Pannai Sea today (10).

When the dead body of the woman was found floating in the Pannai sea area, the local residents informed the Jaffna police about it and then the police came and took the dead body to the house.

The police said that no one has come to accept the dead body of the woman who was taken to the house and the identity of the woman has not been revealed so far.

The Jaffna Police, who are conducting the investigation, added that the cause of the woman’s dead body floating in the sea and her death has not been revealed, while the dead body has been sent to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital for post-mortem examination.
